About Karur Bharathi Call Taxi
Bharathi Call Taxi is the India's first Call Taxi to be introduced in Chennai on November 10th 2000. It was inaugurated by Ayya G.K.Moopanar. A small fleet of 36 Taxis expanded to more than 500 taxis in a short span. Later in the year 2003 Bharathi Call Taxi started out sourcing taxis for the first time. The drivers who were workers till then became owners they entered into a tie up with the call centre. This novel idea was soon proposed by all the call taxi services in Chennai. There are more than 2000 cabs with Bharathi Call Taxi now. Apart from serving customers the company also serves many corporate companies like Chennai Corporation Chennai telephones etc.
