Hema has 22+ years of total work experience of which 16 years were in the UAE with a rich international exposure in brand management. She has worked with major international brands both in the FMCG (for 5 years) and the Selective and Luxury Beauty brands sector (for 13 years : 10 years with the Chalhoub Group in the UAE and 3 years in India). In 2008 she relocated back to her home city Mumbai with the Chalhoub Group.She took a sabbatical for one year from Feb 2011 and later joined a Netherlands based cosmetics company as a Country Business Head from Feb 2012. She left her job in June 2012 to pursue her longtime dream of starting her own consultancy and marketing services company specially targeted to the beauty industry in India where she could apply her acquired expertise
